Lamentations 3:19-27  
“I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: 

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” 

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.”

Hard times come and go. God is ever-present.

With every new day
Comes a new way

Wait and hope
Hope and pray

Mercy is near
God is here

What is real and good no matter what is going on? 
1. We’re not dead yet.
2. God never runs out of grace, mercy, provision, or peace.
3. He renews compassion every morning. 
4. We can remain faithful to him and wait for him because is perfectly dependable.
5. To seek him is to find him. 
6. To wait for him is to grow in discipline. 
7. Self-discipline and faith turn waiting into hope. 

In every pain
In every problem
There is an opportunity 
To know and experience God
There comes strength for the day
And bright hope for tomorrow

What do you need today?
Turn your cup right side up.

I will trust God’s compassionate care, his faithful provision, and his endless mercy every day.

Our Father, your mercies are new and fresh and more than adequate for this day. Empower me to live from this place of grace and to extend your goodness to all who need its assurance. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 1:2, 3 “We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly. As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Daily D – Colossians 2:8-10

Colossians 2:8-10 “Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.”

Daily D – Philippians 2:2-5

Philippians 2:2-5 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
